For ten years the KS-USL has offered a Winter Outdoor Session and a Spring Outdoor Session. The Winter League runs from the last weekend in November through the first weekend of March. The cost is $225.00 plus $40.00 per game played. Teams pay the $40.00 per game fee to the referees at the field. The $255.00 fee covers the costs of field rental, referee assignor, fees to the KSYSA and other costs of operation. The Spring League is primarily designed for teams that need League play to qualify for State Cup, for teams that wish to have a sanctioned environment for friendly games, or for teams in age groups that do have competitive League play, such as U8 girls and boys. During both sessions reschedules are freely allowed on 48 hours notice, providing older teams the flexibility necessary when players are involved in ODP, graduations, ACT/SAT tests, invitational tournaments and The Region II National League and Y-League. For the last four years twenty-one of the twenty-four Kansas State Champions together with over half of the State Cup finalists and semi-finalists in the U14 through U19 boys’ age groups played in the KSUSL.
